BRAND COMMITTEE ModaEspaña


The General Assembly of the Spanish Confederation has approved the Brand Committee of ModaEspaña whose primary purpose is the study and approval of applications for accession to the Plan “MÑ MODAESPAÑA”, depending on whether the applicant companies comply with the requirements for participation. The committee is comprised of entrepreneurs and technician of recognized prestige in the fashion sector.

To be part of the "MÑ MODAESPAÑA" label campaign you must complete all information requested on the form and it must be signed on each page and send it by email to secretaria@modaespana.org

THE MÑ MODAESPAÑA LABEL CAMPAIGN
Lately we have been working on the production of a labeling campaign with ModaEspaña’s logo. Its main objective is to promote the Spanish fashion’s industry as well as fostering the return into our country of the factories that left seeking for lower labor costs. The campaign will also focus on enhancing the Spanish fashion sector from an economical point of view.

ModaEspaña is launching the campaign of the new certified labels -“Made in Spain” and “Designed in Spain”- so consumers can identify precisely the origin of the Spanish fashion products.



Etiqueta homologada Hecho en España

• “Made in Spain”:

for those products that contribute to strengthen the fashion industry in Spain through different areas, and are entirely produced in Spain.
Etiqueta homologada Diseñado en España

• “Designed in Spain”:

for those products that contribute to strengthen the fashion industry in Spain through different areas (except production).

THE SPANISH ROYAL MINT (FNMT) is in charge of the production of the labels, which, in addition to be numbered, they incorporate other safety elements

Marco Contractual ModaEspaña


The Confederation counts with a solid legal framework as the firms interested in joining this campaign and displaying any of the labels will have to sign a membership contract prepared by ModaEspaña.

The contract rules the use ModaEspaña’s brand by third parties, as well as the specification of the technical requirements that authorized persons (natural or legal) shall meet along with the products allowed displaying the labels.

The contract allows:

• To give value to the origin of the fashion products
• Transparency for brands and consumers
• Enforcement of the labeling criteria
• Correct use of the brand in both form and substance
• Protection of the meaning of ModaEspaña: correctly identify the Spanish fashion products.
